Coaching and leadership development for firms that want their people to thrive
Your people may be performing well on paper, but many firms are seeing the same underlying problems: burnout, retention pressure, leadership strain, and high-potential people questioning whether the path ahead is one they actually want.
I work with firms to support lawyers and other professionals to lead more authentically, perform more sustainably, and make better decisions about their careers and leadership.
This is not about lowering standards or pushing people out. It is about helping good people do excellent work in a way that is more sustainable, more human, and better aligned with what today’s professionals need.
Why this matters
The old playbook is not working as well as it once did. Firms are dealing with burnout, retention challenges, partnership uncertainty, and growing tension between traditional leadership styles and what younger professionals now expect from work.
Many high performers do not need to leave their profession, but they do need more clarity, better leadership, and space to make intentional choices rather than simply drift along the default path.
The firms that respond well to this will be the ones that develop leaders who can combine performance with authenticity, ambition with sustainability, and standards with humanity.
This is useful if
This work is especially relevant if any of the following are showing up in your firm.
Senior associates are reaching partnership threshold and quietly questioning whether they want the life that comes with it.
High performers are successful externally but struggling with pressure, self-doubt, overwork, or disconnection from what matters to them.
Newly promoted leaders need support with confidence, communication, delegation, feedback, and leading as themselves rather than copying what they have seen before.
Your culture still rewards performance, but people are asking for more sustainable ways of working and leading.
You want to retain strong people by helping them build careers that feel meaningful and workable, not just prestigious.
You can see real appetite for change, but need a practical and credible way to start the conversation.
How I work with firms
I offer three main formats, and we shape the approach around your firm’s needs, people, and timing.
Interactive workshops — 60 to 90-minute sessions on topics such as authentic leadership, strategic decision-making, and sustainable performance; useful for introducing ideas, creating conversation, and supporting cultural change.
Leadership development cohorts — small-group programmes over 3 to 6 months, typically for senior associates or partners; useful for deeper behavioural change, peer learning, and retention of high-potential talent.
1:1 executive coaching — tailored support for senior associates and partners navigating significant transitions, partnership preparation, confidence, wellbeing, and leadership identity.
The common thread is that this is not generic training. It is bespoke, practical, and grounded in the realities of professional services.
I help people think more clearly, understand themselves better, and make intentional choices that improve both performance and fulfilment.
Why Me?
I am not an outsider trying to understand this world. I spent 15 years in professional services, including as a solicitor and in senior leadership roles leading teams through high-stakes work.
That means I understand the pressure, the politics, the performance culture, and the unspoken rules that shape how people operate inside firms.
My approach combines real-world credibility with professional coaching, and the focus is always on helping people lead in a way that feels true to them while still delivering results.
Let’s talk about what your people are dealing with and whether this approach could support them.
